Choosing the perfect swimwear!

Choosing the perfect swimwear!

OMG! That moment when you are at the shop and do not really know which swimwear to choose to make you look even more beautiful! Sometimes it is not an easy mission to pick a piece that will highlight your strengths (and hide your weaknesses??) 😊. Summer is here and let’s learn how to choose the best bikini or one piece for your perfect body:

1 – FOR A BIGGER BOOTY

You will find that the ripple style pieces, because of the frills at the back of the bikini pants will make your bum look bigger and sit higher! Ruffles, horizontal stripes, zippers, big patterns and embroiders will also help. The pieces to tie at the side will give a bit more volume to your hips.

Avoid: Using dark colours and small patterns as they are great for those looking to look thinner!

2 – TO NARROW THE WAIST

Now I am talking to you, beautiful woman, who has a straighter body and without much waist. For you I recommend you opt for printed bikinis and with details on the sides to give an added curvature to your waist. The one pieces “trick your mum” are great allies for this type of body, as it has strategic cut outs at the waist. Another tip is to choose bikini bottoms with ties and details on the hips!

3 – TO DISGUISE THE TUMMY

I know, lots of mermaids suffer from that undesirable extra belly but Beach Lovers Bikini can help you: we have plenty of bikini bottoms with a larger stripe that stay a bit under the belly button. Also, if possible, choose the darker colours and no patterns when buying your bikini. A bikini bottom with a large band or folded waistband also helps disguise the tummy. Another tip that helps is to use the top handle in a different colour from the rest, drawing attention to the top part of your body.

Avoid: Bikini bottoms with very thin stripes and pieces smaller than your proper size. A tighter bikini will create more volume in the abdominal area.

4 – TUNE THE HIPS AND REDUCE THE BUM VOLUME

To disguise a big butt the ideal is to opt for styles with wider bikini bottoms or with adjustment on the sides (which do not mark). Choose plain, dark-coloured pieces for the bottom matching patterned tops or with details that divert attention to the upper part of the body.

Avoid: small bikini bottoms, as they will give the impression that your butt is even bigger.

5 – SOFTEN THE BREAST

The biggest thing for you is to support your breasts, so choose tops with wide straps, like a bustier style. If you choose a halter style, check if it really holds your breast. You can also choose a darker colour top and a lighter coloured bottom.

Avoid: the strapless bikini and triangle do not really give support, try to avoid them.

6 - BIGGER BOOBS

Invest in the basic triangles / cortininhas and lightly pinch the sides to guarantee that extra volume! The strapless tops with padding are also a big hit! Bet on draped and twisted details such as bows, embroidery and ruffles, as they increase the volume of the area. Use and abundance of colours and prints with large patterns as they visually increase the proportion of the boobs.

Avoid: Tops with wide straps and strapless straight models, as they give the impression of even smaller breasts.

Naia
